Do I need Antivirus Software?
Anyone with a PC requires a robust antivirus program, especially one which is connected to the internet. Over the last 5 years there has been
a dramatic rise of viruses and other harmful threats and leaving a PC unprotected is no longer an option.There’s also been a rise in phishing were fraudsters
attempt to steal your usernames, passwords and credit card details through email and instant messaging services.

Why don’t you review all antivirus software?
we are often asked why we do not review all security packages in the industry: and the simple answer to this is we have chosen to focus only on the top programs that are used by the vast majority of PC users and have a reputation for providing a good all-round service.

How do I uninstall my antivirus software?
These instructions are for Windows OS platform:

1. Go to Start>Settings>Control Panel

2. Once in the Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove Programs

For Symantec Norton Anti-virus:

3. Look for any items referencing either “Norton” or “Symantec” (example: “Norton Antivirus 2003″ or “Symantec Script Blocker” or “Symantec Live Update”); click on the item and the select Change/Remove or Add/Remove. Follow the instructions for removing the software.

4. After you finish check to make sure that there are no more any “Norton” or “Symantec” references.

5. (Optional) Remove the directories used by Norton: for example: c:\Program Files\Norton Antivirus or c:\Program Files\Symantec etc.
